He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Linda Sue Lohr; a son, Harland Lohr and wife Jody of LaVale; a daughter, Lisa Ellifritz and husband Eric of Mtn. Lake Park; a grandson, Daniel Lohr; a sister, Mary Shreve and husband Eugene of Swanton; a brother, Frederick E. Lohr of Swanton; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant sister, Dorothy Lohr; a sister, M. Lucille Shannon; and four brothers, Daniel E. Lohr, Luther D. Lohr, Roger W. Lohr and Lewis Carlton Lohr.

Dear Lohr family, i am sorry to hear about James i wanted to share with you a thought that comforts me in times of grief. it is in the bible at Revelation 21:4 which says. 'He will wipe out the tears from there eyes and death will be no more neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be any more the former things have passed away.' This is a beautiful thought to think about that god will one day do all these things for us in the future.

A kind, generous man who enjoyed sharing his harvest and above all a friend. He always had time to say hello and enjoyed getting a new ball cap from Team One. As he would say " They don't just give these one's to everybody. These are special ". And yes they were. He believed in God and lived his life with a full belief that one day he would reside in heaven. A mission now complete. His love for Linda was simply uncomparable to any other I know. He was proud of his children and they are proud of him. Jim Lohr.....I will miss everything about you. In many ways you made me a better father, a better man. Making a difference in a persons life by a funny story, a honest laugh, an honest smile, is a gift. Jim Lohr made that difference. A good man he was...an angel he became.
