Jon "Chris" and Sherri Lynn Fredlock
Licensed Morticians, Owners/Operators
Originally from Piedmont, WV, Chris previously worked for Bausch and Lomb in Oakland and Scarpelli Funeral Home in Cumberland. Sherri moved to Western Maryland in the early 90's after graduating from college and practiced as a Speech Pathologist in Dennett Road Manor and the former Cuppett and Weeks Nursing Home among other locations. Both are graduates of the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science and Licensed Morticians in the state of Maryland. Chris also holds licenses in both Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Giving back to their community has always been important to both and they volunteer and serve a number of organizations including Hopsice of Garrett County, Garrett County Commission for Women and the Kitzmiller Lions Club. They live in Oakland with their two daughters, Jocelyn and Sara and their labradoodle, Dexter. In their free time, they enjoy time on the water.
Mary Ann Rose
Licensed Mortician
After providing part-time and coverage assistance for a number of years, Mary Ann has recently joined the business full-time. A graduate of the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science, she was raised in Mt. Storm, WV and lives in Oakland with her husband John and two beautiful daughters. She enjoys traveling, reading and spending time with her family.
Donna Burdock
Secretary
Donna lives in Elk Garden, WV with her husband Dan and dog Tank. She has two grown daughters and one beautiful granddaughter, Ella. Donna is a devoted and faithful member of the Nethken Hill United Methodist Church. She can also be seen at functions throughout the area with the church's catering venture, Heavenly Catering. She has recently made the move to "part-time" status so that she can spend more time with little Ella!
Bill Butler

A proud veteran of the United States Army, Bill lives in Oakland with his wife, Barb. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends and possesses a warm personality that shows in everything he does.
Dick Friend
Funeral Assistant
Born and raised in Garrett County, Dick is a proud veteran of the United States Army who goes the extra mile to help fellow veterans. He lives in Oakland with his wife Betty. Dick is always ready to assist families and help them feel comfortable.
Jim Evans
Funeral Assistant
Jim lives in Oakland with his wife, Rosalie and enjoys spending time with his son, daughter and their families. He is a proud veteran of the United States Army who has served faithfully on mission trips to South America. Jim is always eager to offer a kind word and gentle smile when it is needed.
Dan Paugh
Funeral Assistant
Dan lives in Kitzmiler with his wife Diane and is very active with his community. He can be seen every year working in the Kitzmiller Lions Club food booth at the Garrett County Fair with a smile and kind word to all.
Dexter
Official Greeter (by request)
A happy and intelligent Labradoodle, Dexter makes quick friends with anyone who is interested. He also functions as a doorbell and vacuum when needed.
Jocelyn and Sara Fredlock
Occasional Help
Jocelyn, 14, and Sara, 10, attend Southern High and Broad Ford Elementary, respectively. They enjoy music, theater and spending time with their friends.
