Obituary of Mabel Fulk

Mabel I. Lowdermilk Rogers Fulk, 96, passed to her Eternal Reward on January 5, 2011, at her home in Crellin. The daughter of the late Gilbert T. Bessie A. (Casteel) Lowdermilk, she was born in the White Rock area of Garrett County, on March 26, 1914. She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Fred T. Fulk, Sr. in 1995; an infant daughter, Nancy Rogers; three brothers, Charles, George and Dale Lowdermilk, and by three sisters, Gladys Lowdermilk, Thelma Kisner and Mary Kemphfer. Surviving are two sons, James A. Rogers and wife, Nancy and Fred T. Fulk and wife, Tammy; three daughters, Margaret Fulk-Doyle and husband, Thomas; Brenda F. Michael, and Linda R. DeWitt and husband Robert; eight grandchildren, Rebecca Roy, Michael Rogers, Mark Rogers, Laura Mason, Amy Baker, Robbie DeWitt, Victoria Matthews and Destinee Fulk; thirteen great-grandchildren; two brothers, Harold and Robert Lowdermilk; one sister, Joanna Hershman, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was an active member of Rosedale United Pentecostal Church, now known as Apostolics of Oakland. Friends and relatives will be received at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N. 2nd St, Oakland, MD, Friday, January 7, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at Apostolics of Oakland, Saturday, January 8, 2011 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Aaron Phillips officiating.
