To the family:
Sis. Mabel was a great Christian and a wonderful woman! I was raised in the Rosedale United Pentecostal Church and have so many wonderful memories of Sis. Mabel. Even once I left Garrett County and moved to ministry in other areas, I would get the occasional card or letter from her with words of encouragement and sometimes, a few dollars that were so helpful during a time of need.
I know she will be greatly missed, but I also know that she is now enjoying her time with her Jesus! Many prayers for the family! With deepest regards!

Sydna and I just wanted to send our sympathy. A loss of mother is is a terrible thing. It's been a long time since the family got together, the last time being at Fred's house. Sydna and I don't leave the farm much anymore and the weather was bad, so we decided not to try making it to Oakland. Jimmy, Margaret, Linda, Brenda, Fred and the rest of the family, may god bless everyone, help you uYvcHvall through this, and into the future.

To the family~Sister Mabel was one fine example of what a christian is. She was one of the sweetest ladies we have ever know.I will always treasure the picture we have of her playing the piano with the sparkle in her eyes and just singing away.I will always remember her words of wisdom thru the years and the friend she was to us.I look forward to that great reunion in the sky one day with her and the rest of our families and friends.I can see her up there with Fred and Clydye and Sister Maryjane and the others having a good ole time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all~~~
