He was the son of Glenna M. (Harvey) Sweitzer of Swanton and the late Robert W. Sweitzer. In addition to his mother, he is survived by three brothers, Robert D. Sweitzer, Steven R. Sweitzer and wife Debbie, and Rodney A. Sweitzer and wife Barbie; two sisters, June Sweitzer and Wanda Ward and husband Chuck, all of Swanton; eight nieces and nephews; and thirteen great nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister in law, Alverta Sweitzer.
