He is survived by his wife, Susan N. (Evans) Perando; a daughter, Major Heather Perando of Gerrardstown, W.Va.; a son, Sean P. Perando of Deer Park; two sisters, Joan Hawk of Broomes Island and Eva Clary of Oakland; and two brothers, Wolford (Bud) Perando and Alden Perando, both of Oakland. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Harold Stark.
