She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Melvin “Gene” Dunithan; her children, Crystal Dunithan and Shawn Simmons of Mt. Storm and Justin Dunithan and Shannon Wolf of Elk Garden; grandchildren, Skylar Simmons and Kaiden Dunithan; step grandchildren, Alexia and Madison Wolf; a very special sister, Marlene Fout and Gary Lucas of New Creek; sisters, Delores Andrews and husband Andy of Ocala, FL and Louise Burger and husband Ben of Simpsonville, SC; a special niece, Maranda (Fout) Hott; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, David Dawson and James “Jimmy” Dawson.
