She is survived by her husband, Jan Walter Janssen; one son, Guy Hinebaugh and wife Hazel of Oakland; two daughters, Elizabeth Forrester and husband John of Swanton and Leslie Hinebaugh and Pete McIver of Equador; two step-daughters, Kaaren Janssen of CT and Nikolina Janssen of CA; seven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Guy William Hinebaugh Sr., in 1989 with whom she owned and operated the Hinebaugh Restaurant from 1945 to 1962. Charity was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
