It was with great sorrow that I just learned about Judy's passing. We grew up together in a special neighborhood. All of the kids (many who have already posted) played together, went to school together, laughed and cried together. Those are precious memories that I will cherish forever. Judy was like a sister and her brothers were like one of my brothers. I really enjoyed talking with her at the PHS reunions and learning about her family and adventures. I know she will be missed by her family and friends.

I was deeply saddened this afternoon to learn of the passing of Mrs. Swinson. The Swinsons are very special people with hearts of gold. This, no doubt, was a result of the influence of Mrs. Swinson's warm heart on the lives of her children and grandchildren. May God lead you all through this difficult time. To Judy's husband and children I wish to express my sympathy regarding Judy's passing. To George, Steve and Greg, I remember the whole Higgins family warmly. Judy's friends from the neighborhood have worded their sorrow on this board in a wonderful manner. Mike Durnell and I have spoken today regarding Judy and are saddened by her passing. It is amazing how such common days growing up can become wonderful memories later in life. It is nice to see our friends from the neighborhood write insightful comments regarding Judy. George Drain

Dear Family of Judy, I am saddened to learn of Judy's passing, too early to lose such a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister and friend. She was like a big sister to me as I grew up in Parkersburg and at Stephenson UM Church. She and her mother were responsible for our attendance and longtime affiliation there - Lillian invited us to attend when I was a very young girl. I will forever cherish the memories of my childhood friend Judy.We shared playing dolls,and making doll clothes on blankets in the yard,School days until high school graduation, Sunday School, church choir,M.Y.F.,church camp,taking a summer vacation together at Daytona Beach, Florida. Truly these were a lifetime of more than wonderful memories I will never forget. If anyone ever saw her senior high school photo,she looked like" Elizabeth Taylor". A Beautiful Girl, with a loving heart, that she was. I'm trusting, Bob, your coming years will be shaped by the best you two shared,and by a closeness with God beyond your expectations. Dear Bob and family, I am so sorry to hear of Judy's departure from her earthly home. Although she will be missed by so many here on earth she will be greeted with open arms for those who await her in heaven.
