She is survived by two step-children, Chloe Learey of Vermont and Frederick Learey of Allentown, PA; children, Marta Turney of Silver Spring, Michele Messenger of Morgantown, WV, Brantley Turney of Boulder, Colorado and Kurk Turney of Harper’s Ferry, WV; eleven grandchildren; three sisters, Joan Thomas of Florida, Ellen Warren of Tennessee and Carol Clement of Rockville; and two brothers, George Kemmerer of California and Jim Kemmerer of Arkansas. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Frederick K. Learey, on January 18, 2015.
