He is survived by three children, Timothy S. Simmons, retired Navy Sr. Chief, and wife Brenda of Fredericksburg, VA, Amy C. Klingler and husband Bill of Nevada City, CA, and Jeremy Simmons and wife Stephanie of Glen Burnie; five grandchildren, Joshua Santos, Miranda Klingler, Shawn Simmons, Sarah Simmons and Adeilia Simmons; one sister, Carolyn Corley of Loch Lynn; former wife and friend, Victoria Johnson; and numerous cousins and dear friends.
