Mary is survived by two children, Charles “Chuck” Friend and wife Lois of Oakland and Lois Bailey and husband Gary of Jacksonville, MD; four grandchildren, Jennifer Friend-Robinson and husband Rob, Ben Friend and wife Brittany, Zach and Zoe Bailey; one great granddaughter, Makenzie Friend; siblings, Leona Nazelrod, Robert Lewis and wife Mabel and Charlotte Eidman; numerous nieces and nephews; and a life-long friend, Dolly Liller. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Boyd A. Friend in October 2014; and two brothers, Jack and Bradley Lewis.
