She is survived by her a son, Harry A. Gaither and wife Trudy of Bayard; a daughter, Peggy Riggleman and husband Randy of Bayard; grandchildren, Carrie Slaubaugh and husband James, Jessica Gaither, Zach Riggleman and wife Candice, Noah Gaither and Isaac Riggleman and wife Cecalie; great grandchildren, Trevor, Cole, Hunter, Candace, Chanda, Jaxon, Jackie and Sutter; her sister, Rosalee Johnson of Reedsville, WV; sisters in law, Nina Sisson, Francis Bosley and Ruth Ann Cooper; and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Harry E. Gaither, in 2012 and a sister, Edith Gaither.

Name: Cora Alice Gaither, Age: 85 Of: Bayard, WV Date of Death: Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Dennett Road Manor Nursing Home of Oakland, MD. Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 PM at C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 North Second Street, Oakland, MD and Wednesday from 10 to 11 AM at Bayard United Methodist Church, 2009 Front St., Bayard, WV. The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Wednesday at Bayard United Methodist Church, 2009 Front St., Bayard, WV with Pastor Rebecca L. Bennett officiating. Interment will be in Bayard Cemetery, Bayard In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Bayard United Methodist Church.
