She is survived by one son, James E. Holland and wife Ella Jean of Oakland; two grandchildren, Carla Holland and James H. Holland, both of Oakland; two great grandchildren, Jedediah and Emily Holland; a sister, Margaret Germain; a brother, David Holland; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harley A. Bowman, in 1985; a sister, Shirley Guthrie; and brothers, Abe Holland, Daniel Holland and Richard Holland.
