Lake Park; children, Cynthia Snowie (Allan) of Bellingham, WA, Sallie Stuart of Las Vegas, NV, Pamela Wooddell of Eugene, OR, Susan Campbell (Kenton) of Washington, DC and Dr. James Wooddell (Nancy) of Davidsonville, MD, Cynthia Witte (Kenneth) of Mt. Lake Park, MD and William Gass, Jr. (Michelle) of Harwood, MD; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; a niece, Kathryn Gonder Maes (Lee) of Oakland and a nephew, Matthew Wooddell (Rita) of Roanoke, VA. In addition to his parents, Hop was preceded in death by his sisters, Mary Helen Mumma and “Kitty” Gonder; a brother, Matt Wooddell; first wife, Lt. Christine Yeager Wooddell and a nephew, Father David W. Gonder.

Name: Joseph H. Wooddell, Age: 99 Of: Mt. Lake Park, MD Date of Death: Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Oakland Nursing & Rehab Center of Oakland, MD. Friends will be received Sunday from 4 to 7 PM at C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 North Second Street, Oakland, MD. The funeral will be held 10:00 AM on Monday at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, 126 E. Liberty Street, Oakland, MD with Rev. Dr. Chip Lee officiating. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery, Oakland with full military honors accorded by the American Legion Post #71 and the Deer Park VFW Post #10077. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to It's In the Bag, St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, 126 E. Liberty St, Oakland, MD 21550
