Chief and family,
I'm so sorry to hear of the news about Velda. I know you,her Mom, Barb and sisters have wonderful memories of her.
I too, have the fondest memories of our Home Interior parties, the night it was so foggy and you and Velda followed me down the mountain... I always looked forward to sharing Christmas cards with her for the past 20 years that I have been out of Home Interiors. She always had a saying or small card tucked away in the card. I was so anxious when your card came to open it and read what blessed message had she sent to me. I will miss her too, she was a great lady and God will take good care of her.

Dear Chief,
We are so sad that we lost Velda but we know she is in a better place. We have fun memories from the times we stayed with you guys and went to garage sales, shared crafts and recipes
and looked up family histories. Remember when we drove to you after 9/11 for Thanksgiving and had a feast?
Velda gave me a little hanging that says: The two of us shall
never part, friends forever from the start.

Chief, I was honored to have been a friend of Velda. I have so many memories of when we worked together at the Kitzmiller Senior Center. She truly loved working with those seniors. Even though those days have since passed, we remained friends through out the years. God truly gained an angel.
