He is survived by two nephews, Clark A. Sharpless, Sr. and Martin Sharpless; special cousins, Randy Sharpless and Nancy Livengood; and numerous cousins and extended family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Norma Sharpless and a brother, Curry Tasker.
