She is survived by her son, Charles E. Helbig and wife Susan of Oaklad; five grandsons; seven great grandchildren; a brother, Alden Friend and sister, Catherine (Friend) Mullen, both of California. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five sisters, Laura Jackson, Eleanor Butler, Evelyn Delsignore, Cleda Paugh and Faun Gnegy; and three brothers, Samuel, Herbert and Robert Friend.
