Barbara is survived by her daughters, Lauren and Sarah Heilig of Swanton; her siblings, Brenda Pike and husband Fred of Swanton, Larry Wilt and wife Lenora, Beverly Haines and husband Jeffery, Bonnie Miller and husband Danny, George Wilt, Bobby Wilt and wife Stacy, all of Oakland; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; a special cousin who was like a sister, Susan Bowman; special friends, Barbara Ponceroff and Jennifer Rohrbaugh; and the countless number of students who passed through her classroom over the past 40 years.

Friends will be received Saturday, October 29, 2016 from 5 to 8 PM at Oak Park Church of the Brethren, 110 Church Lane, Mountain Lake Park, MD. A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 30 at Oak Park Church of The Brethren, 110 Church Lane, Mountain Lake Park, MD with Pastor Carl Fike officiating.
