Obituary of Charles Kelley

Charles “David” Kelley, 58 of Elk Garden, WV passed away Saturday, December 19, 2009 at Potomac Valley Hospital. Born on April 19, 1951 in Elk Garden, WV, he was the son of Regina (Luffey) Kelley and the late Donald Kelley Sr. David loved hunting, camping, fishing and especially loved riding his motorcycle. He was a member of the Mt. Storm VFW Post #6735. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War from 1968-1971, serving with the 535th Engineering Co. Surviving are his mother, Regina Kelley; sisters Diane Thompson and husband Ronnie of Keyser, WV, Elaine Allgood of Panama City, FL, Sharon Kelley of Keyser, WV, Debbie Evans and husband Paul of Elk Garden, WV, Suzy Baker and husband Brian of Fredericksburg, VA; and brothers Donald Kelley Jr. and special friend Cathy and Danny Kelley and special friend Sally, all of Keyser, WV. He was loved by his family and friends very much and will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home, P.A., 710 Church St., Kitzmiller, MD on Tuesday December 22, 2009 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 23, 2009 in the funeral home chapel.
