Obituary of Robert Crone

Robert William Crone, 60, of Hazzard, Ky. and formerly of Oakland, died January 6, 2010 at his residence, following a long illness. Born Feb. 25, 1949 in Fairmont, WV, he was the son of Bill and Helen (Tatterson) Crone of Oakland. He was preceded in death by his brother, James Crone; and by two sisters, Donna Seeders and Karen Crone. A graduate of Southern High School, and Garrett Community College he also attended and graduated from colleges in Virginia and Indiana. Bob was and Army veteran of Viet Nam, taught at Garrett Community College and Hazzard Community College in Ky. He is survived by two previous wives, Sherry Frantz and Patricia Crone. Also surviving in addition to his parents, are two daughters, Kristen and Rhea, nephews Rick and Bill Seeders. Memorial services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday Jan. 16, 2010 at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home 21 N 2nd St. Oakland, MD with Pastor. John Rodeheaver speaking. Inurnment of ashes will be in Garrett Memorial Gardens. Service Information
