Charlie was a great person. I served on the Garrett County School Board with him. He came to the school board meetings having done his "homework". He was passionate about education. Charlie had a great smile and unique sense of humor. Also a temper, one time he took his shoe off and pounded it on the board room table. But once he stated his opinion, he was all smiles again. We knew his wonderful wife Sharon and Jessica, Sarah and Josh. Please know that we are thinking about you!

I've known Charlie since 1976. I remember his wit, humor, and sharp intellect. He was the prime organizer of the infamous Garrett County Bacgammon Tounament which he also won at least twice. As a pitcher on the Health Departments softball team in the 70's his high arc was beautifull when I was in center feild.
However; the best part about Charlie was he loved his family, and was loved by everbody. I will miss you old freind. If God doesn't play bacgammon or know how to arc a softball, he will have a good teacher.

Sharon, I first heard of Charlie's death at the Lowes in Annapolis while enjoying lunch before the PACE reception. It was in the same room there that my sister and I enjoyed a dinner/snacks with Charlie and you a few years ago. I will always remember the fun and laughter. Charlie had such a wonderful sense of humor. My thoughts and prayers will be with you.

Charlie and I first met back in the Commodore 64 days. After that, I helped him build PC clones in his garage, so we became friends working / playing with PC’s. I came out to his house once to help build PC’s and he had caught the barn on fire. We had a few laughs after that one. I read the paper yesterday of Charlie’s passing, when home, turned on the computer and it crashed. Charlie, I will miss you.
May God Bless

I have known Charlies since he worked at selling Commondore 64 computers to the people of Oakland. I was just a young kid at the time, and he helped me in many ways to become the person that I am today, a professor of Computer Science. I had an oppertunity to talk with him on many occations when he worked at the University. He will be missed.

The Teets Family,
Our deepest sympathy to you, Sharon, and your family. My husband and I knew Charlie from tennis, and I also knew him from Garrett College. I enjoyed talking with him, and he was always patient with my lack of tennis skill. We will keep you in our thoughts.

Sharon and family,
Charlie was a unique (in a good way) man who always had a smile to share. His pride in his family shone in his eyes when he talked of you all. May God grant you His "peace that passes all understanding" now and in the future.

My sympathies to Mr. Teets’ family and friends. I was saddened to learn of Mr. Teets’ death. When I was a student at ACC in the early 1990s, he was my favorite computer science instructor and I really enjoyed and learned much from his classes. He had a lighthearted nature and was always a very positive influence on those around him. He had a positive impact on me personally when he recommended me for an internship that helped pay my way through school so I was always grateful to him.
