Helen Tranum posted a condolence

So sorry for your loss. Peanut was my father's (Doakie Tranum)cousin. Lavina and my grandmother Helen were sisters. We just found out this morning of Peanut's passing. I remember Peanut, Big Jim, Little Jim and Sandy from when I went back to Kitzmiller the summer of 1958 when I was 10. I visited my Grandma Helen who lived up the road at Potomac Manor. I spent a night at Peanut's home, she was so very nice and made me feel welcome. My great Aunt Mary lived next door to Peanut in later years and when visiting Aunt Mary once again seen Peanut at her home. Last time I remember seeing Peanut was at my Uncle Charles funeral, when my dad passed in July of 1999 he was at the Burdock Funeral Home and frankly I don't remember who all was there as the whole thing is just a blur as my dad's passing was very traumatic for me.
Again, very sorry for your personal loss.

Jamie:
I was very sad to hear about your grandmother. She was always a really nice person to talk to and a great neighbor. I remember a lot of times when I lived in Kitzmiller sitting on her porch and just shooting the breeze. Tara and Mindy both sends their regards and you know if there is anything you need you can call on us.
With Kind Regards,
Your Friend,
Dianna

Dear Sandy & 'Big-Jim',
So sorry about the passing of Peanut. Dad just called me and was crying. He read the obit late last night/early this morning. Dad and I recall many fun times with your mom and dad while I was growing up. Especially camping at MeadowMountain. Also, many vacations together! Not to mention watching the Pirates and Steelers on tv and also visting each other over the Holidays.
Your mom and dad will always have a special place in my heart! The stories that I could tell just won't fit in the space allowed. I will try to call you tomorrow at the funeral home during visitation hours. Take Care.
Lots of Love,
Ross & Eddie Bishop
