I want to offer my condolences to Kathy's family and assure you that she and all of you will be in my prayers. Kathy was an asset for our fundraisers for our fire department, for the womens' club and a close acquaintance/or friend to many of us. We were all so very shocked when we realized the severity of her illness. I had occasion to see her at the nursing home when she was brought in for physical therapy and we'd chat, or I'd listen while she talked.
I"m very sorry that I can't be at the service on Saturday, as I have a previous committment that I"m obligated to keep. I'll keep you all in my thoughts.
