I first met Mrs Thayer in 1966 while working summers at Bill''''s Marine dock located next to the Thayer''''s barn on Deep Creek Lake. Daily, I would eat lunch at the Barn and would often sit next to Mrs. Thayer at the end of the bar. She was always so friendly to speak to. She was great company to sit next to because I always entered the restaurant alone. I always felt special when I sat down and she would greet me by name. I was a regular at the "Barn" for the summer of 66. She was a fine lady. Regards, Dave
