My parents, Jim and Mary Frances Meyer, were friends of the Helbigs as well as customers at the jewelry store. I remember going with my mother many times to their store. I loved looking at all the beautiful things and remember how nice Mr. Helbig was. The era of the old stores and wonderful business people are passing quickly. I am sorry for your loss but also happy that you had your father for so many years.

I was so saddened to read of Don's death. He was so nice to me at the store. Always kidding me. I trust God will comfort you in this time of grief.
