Duane & kids,
In case you don't remember me, I worked with Suzi at Bethany 1st Nazarene in Bethany, Oklahoma. I used to babysit your kids. it seemed like I spent quite a bit of time at your house.
I was so saddened to hear that Suzi had died. I had just found her last year on Facebook, and we had shared one short note. I had been thinking about her so much.
She was the "funnest" person I ever worked with. I still have the "thumbprint" plaque she made for me of my family, as well as many other gifts she made. She was always creating something.
We worked together during the time I was in my dating years, so I kept her up on all my boyfriends. And I believe she was there for my wedding to Lewis (the man of my dreams). In case you might be confused, "Lewis" was also my maiden name.
She was a fun influence in our office. At the request of our Business Administrator at BFC, Neil Rimington, Suzi came up with a name for our secretary team -- the "CooCoos." That name stood for the Committee On the Organization of Committed Organized Secretaries (or something like that). He used that name whenever he wanted us to meet. He would say, "We're having a CooCoos meeting at 9:00."
I will never forget Suzi. I loved her!
