Obituary of Ronald Lang

Ronald William Lang, 68 of Oakland, MD, passed away Friday, March 4, 2011 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV. Born August 19, 1942 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Henry and Mary (Rhodes) Lang. Ron was a Vietnam Era Veteran of the United States Navy, a retired Superintendent for Baltimore City Traffic Signal, member of Proctor Kildow Post 71 and American Legion, Oakland, MD. Surviving are: wife-Bernadette (Novak) Lang; sons-Ronald Lang, Minneapolis, MI, Blaine Lang, Belaire, MD, Keith Lang, Charlotte, NC and Andrew Lang, Oakland, MD; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. At Ron’s request his body was cremated. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at 1 p.m. in the David A. Burdock Funeral Home Chapel, 21 N. 2nd St, Oakland, MD 21550.
