He is survived by his wife- Sylvia J.(Brown) Butler; two sons- Randy Lee Butler and wife Kim of Front Royal, VA and Robert Truman Butler of McHenry; two sisters- Verna Elizabeth Speicher of McHenry and Lena Sue Thomas of Friendsville; three brothers- David Orr Butler of McHenry, Kenneth Eugene Butler of National Pike, and Ronald Ray Butler of McHenry; a grandson- Devin James Butler of Front Royal; step children- Cletus Bosley, Melanie Boone, Cheryl Boone and Loretta Whitacre, all of Oakland; nine step grandchildren and five step great grandchildren; and one on the way. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Leroy Orval Butler.
