She is survived by her husband Joseph L. Friend of Oakland; two daughters, Terri Jo Friend of Oakland and Alanna Cannon and husband Steve of Kentucky; six grandchildren, Blake Fazenbaker, Santanna Howdyshell, Wyatt Dove, Joel Dove, Jaiden Cannon and Maddi Cannon; four sisters, Connie Wilson of Oakland, Marlene Glass of Jarrettsville, MD, Eilene Beckman of Georgia, and Janice Georg of Accident; special sister in law, Erma Dewitt; special nieces, Lori Hatcher, Lacy House, and Lisa Schlosnagle; special friends, Carolyn Lower, Vickie Berry, and Tracey Slagle. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandmother whom helped raise her “Giggy” Ruth Eichelberger; a granddaughter, Lana Howdyshell; a brother, Ervin Deal; and a sister, Beverly Ruth Dewitt.
