He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Patricia A. (Tichinel) Via; two daughters, Tammy J. Seminerio and husband Lorenzo of Frostburg and Melissa A. Evans and husband Allen W. Evans of Kitzmiller; grandchildren, Jessica Seminerio Grapes and husband Joshua, Dustin J. Evans and wife Angellee and Kayla A. Dolly and husband Aron; a brother, Jerry Via and wife Sharon of Keyser, WV; sisters, Joyce Oates of Baltimore, Sharon Paugh of Mt. Storm, WV, Sue Blizzard and husband Melvin of Keyser, WV and Donna Pancake and husband Charles of Keyser, WV; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Benny, Tom, Kerry and David Via; and four sisters, Betty Via Page, Shirley Via Aronhalt, June Via Pennington and Gloria Via Doll. Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 710 Church St., Kitzmiller on Thursday, January 14th from 2 to 4 PM. A funeral service will be held in the Walnut Bottom Assembly of God on Friday, January 15th at 1 PM with Pastor George H. Tichinel officiating. Interment will be in the Turner Cemetery.
