She is survived by a sister, Catherine Harvey; three children, daughter Helen Schrock and husband Ron of Oakland, son William Simms and companion Margaret Miller of Oakland, and son James Simms and wife Mary of Mt. Lake Park; six grandchildren, Chris Stemple and husband James, Ron Schrock and wife Peggy, James Schrock and wife Alicia, Angel Simms-Fuller and husband Donny, Tommy Simms, and Tammy Masters and husband Jim; twelve great grandchildren, Blaine and Beth Stemple, Ronnie and Jacob Schrock, Katelynn, Mason, and Landon Schrock, Andrew and Joseph Fuller, Gabrielle and Nathaniel Simms and Brandon Masters; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sheridan William “Barney” Simms and one brother, Lester “Joe” Murphy.
