Maxine is survived by her children, Susan Skinner and husband John of Charles Town, WV, Jim Gibson and wife Kathy of Deep Creek Lake, Anne Robinson and husband Bob of Wheeling, WV, Jane Helmick and husband John of Oakland, and Mary Lynn Bosley and husband Jim of Oakland; grandchildren, Stephen Skinner, Andrew Skinner, Sally Skinner, Todd Gibson, Beau Gibson, Jim Robinson, Roberta Olejasz, Jamie Bosley, and Cory Bosley; great-grandchildren, Morgan, Austin, Carmen and Addison Skinner, Maggie and Trixie Bredbeck, Sophie Gibson, Clark Gibson, Megan, Evan and Riley Robinson, Reagan and Max Olejasz. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. H. Robert Gibson and two brothers, Clifford and Glenn Lyons.
