He is survived by three daughters, Vicki Cassell and husband Dave, Judy Ervin and husband Victor and Michelle Lee; a son, Kevin Blum and wife Joni; eight grandchildren, Bobbi Jo Briggs, Kimberly Jackson, Randy Ervin, Kelly Cassell, Christopher Cassell, Vicki Kight, Gabriel Savage and Stasha Blum; nine great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; two brothers, Raymond and Lowell; two sisters, Pauline Miller and Shirley Moore; numerous nieces and nephews; and many special friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death, in 1998, by his wife, Blanche W. (DeVelbiss) Blum who he married in 1946; and a brother, Paul.
