He is survived by his wife of thirty-nine years, Carol Ann (Schroth) Shiffy; three daughters, Amy J. Roth and husband Willie, Robin J. Baker and husband Joey, and Kristina M. DeWitt and husband Todd; one sister, Ruby Hebb; six grandchildren, Tyler Roth, Tayler Roth, Breanna Baker, Marshall Baker, Dillon DeWitt and Evan DeWitt all of Oakland; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Agnes Sisler, Nellie Ford and stepfather, Luther Jordan.
