He is survived by two sons, Richard Stanley Smith and wife Melva, of Oakland, and James Patrick Smith and wife Betty, of Madison, Ohio; two grandchildren, Patrick Smith and wife Donna, of Madison, Ohio, and Kimberly Ford, of Mentor, Ohio; four great-grandchildren, Katie and Abby Smith, and Meghan and Justin Ford; also, a brother, John Smith of Rawlings. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Janet M. (Campbell) Smith in 2002 and two brothers, Leo and Tom Smith.
