He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Almeda Mae (Hauser) Lipscomb; three daughters, Denise Ellen Reese Muenchow and husband Jeff of Oakland, Sandra Elaine Gibson and husband Steve of Clarksburg, WV, and Carol Annette Wilson and husband DJ of Oakland; son-in-law, Steve Reese; grandchildren, Sheena Reese DiSimone and husband Justin of FL, Bradley Reese of CO, Peyton and Kierra Wilson and Lucas and Mike Muenchow, all of Oakland; a sister, Dora Etta Vincent of Bruceton Mills, WV; three brothers, Lourain Lipscomb of Winchester, VA, Edward Lipscomb of Eglon, WV, and Tom Lipscomb of Charles Town, WV; and numerous nieces and nephews.
