I am Bob Durrant. Sally Hoffman Durrant's husband and, of course, Tom's brother-in-law. Tom made me aware of Genevieve's passing. Tom, Sally and I have lived our adult lives far from Garrett County. When Mildred, Sally's and Tom's mother, got to the point where she needed constant care Genevieve became the solution every family in that situation woyuld pray for. No one could have been kinder, gentler or more able than Genevieve. And, when Mildred had, after many years of Genevieve's care, to be placed in an adult care facility Genevieve continued to visit her and check on her. This was duty above and beyond. Sally and I always admired her continuously displayed optimism and "can do" attitude, especially in the face of troubles that she could have let put her down. "Saintly" is the proper word to describe her. Her passing is a loss for all.
