He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Freda R. (Bowser) Boone; two daughters, Debra McCartney and husband Randy of Oakland and Sharon Riley and husband Will of Oakland; three sons, Daniel H. Boone, Sr. and wife Penny of Terra Alta, Tracy Boone and wife Melanie of Oakland; Robert Boone and wife Crystal of Eglon; eleven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a sister, Linda Kendall of Mt. Morris, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his mother and stepfather, he was preceded in death by a grandson, John Boone and two brothers, Virgil and Franklin Boone.
