She is survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kermit T. Brooks, in 1995; three sisters, Norma Paugh, Gertrude Acors, and Esther Moore; and six brothers, William Lyons, Sr., George Lyons, Howard Lyons, Jr., Raymond Lyons, Clarence Lyons, and Melvin Lyons.
