Dear Jean, My deepest sympathy on the loss of Roy. He was a co-worker of mine at Allegheny Mining for over 10 years, from my age 17-27. As you can tell these were the formative years of my life and Roy both joked and was serious with me on many issues I would talk about at the time. Oh, in case you don't remember me, I'm "Sparky". I haven't saw Roy for over 10 years. I often wondered about you both, but seemed never to have the time to stop in, for which now I deeply regret. Glad to know Roy was active in his church and had the assurance of eternal life. My God comfort you and your entire family at this time. I regret that I am unable to attend the service tomorrow.
