To Bobbie's Family,
Bobbie and I became Kappas together at WVU, and I will remember her always as a kind, uplifting presence. She was a source of spirituality even then, and I was blessed to know her.
I am so sorry for your loss,

I was so sad to hear the news of Bobbie's passing. My heart brakes for her family. She was such a great friend to me from the time our family moved into the neighborhood on Orchard Road and through our school years at Country Day and Mount de Chantal. Bobbie gave her all to everything. She was so smart and so beautiful.
Rest in peace my dear friend.

Dear Rhodes Family,
I was so sorry to hear about your recent loss. I actually had Mrs. Rhodes as a substitute teacher a few years ago. And I saw her about every week going to Jazzersize. She had such a great personality. Revelation 21:4 gives us hope of a time when death will be no more. Notice what it says, "And He will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." that is such a great promise given to us by God. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely,
Madalyn Welsh

Lance, Erin and Rett, I met Bobbie personally through jazzercise but had heard many wonderful things about her and your family through my father-in-law, Claude Wagner, and I am sure they were both rejoicing in heaven when she joined the throng there! She was an amazing lady and the legacy she has left behind was evident today at her celebration service. I pray God will comfort you all during this difficult time and fill your days with wonderful memories of the good times you all shared.

Dear Viewig, McCamic, and Rhodes families,
A prayer that I have long loved. Surely it was Bobbie's prayer for all whom she loved and who love her eternally.
Dear Jesus, lay your wounded hands upon my weary head
and teach me to have courage in the paths that I must tread.
Bless me, and bless those whom I love, and give us grace to see
these crosses bravely borne by us will draw us near to thee.
And if, at times, a shadow falls in unexpected ways,
please put your gentle hand in mine and guide me through the days.
So bless my people one and all with thy protecting grace
and impart to them thy wisdom ere they meet thee face to face.
Love,
Larry and Janie

Dear Lance and Family,
It is with deepest sympathy we send each of you our love. I know all to well the feeling of lose, however, we can take comfort in knowing that one day, we will see our loved one again.
Lots of things will be said by good people who mean well, but nothing takes away that feeling of loss.
Bobbie was an awesome person!! She was so kind and gentle and any time I ever saw her, she just made you feel so welcome and loved. I always appreciated the two of you taking time to visit with me and always being so kind.
Lance, if you need anything at all, now or in the future, please do not hesitate to call me.
Lance, please know that I am with you in spirit. I was hoping to come to visitation but prior to finding out when the service was scheduled, my youngest son had made plans with a friend of his to work on a school project in our home on Saturday afternoon. As I said, if there is anything we can do for you now or later, please call me.
With lots of love,

Lance, Rhett & Erin:
Our hearts go out to you. I did not know Bobbie well but we
always spoke when we ran into each other. Kory and Rhett
played soccer against each other in the old Mountain Top
League years ago and that is when the acquaitance began.
She always had a smile on her face, and always asked how
Kory was. She is as beautiful inside as she was on the
outside. Stay strong and know that she is in heaven now
and no longer in any pain. What a wonderful woman.

Lance and family,
I feel like I have gotten to know Bobbie through my daughter, Tina.
Of course, every time I saw Bobbie, her love for Christ and her joy and care for people always shone through. She was such an inspiration to me, as I saw her courage and trust in God, in the way she pushed through her enormous physical battles. The way she carried on in ministry to others in spite of her struggles amazed me, and so many of her brothers and sisters in Christ. Her life has caused me to look at my own life through the eyes of Christ, with a desire to love and serve Him and others more unselfishly.
We all loved her. Our prayers and love are with you. Becky & Don Mason

Erin, I want you to know how sorry I was to hear about your mom. I am so glad you got to spend some time with her. I was excited to see your mom was so involved with the youth at her church because it is so important they are mentored well, as they are the church of tomorrow and her thoughts and ideas will go with these kids throughout there adult lives. What a legacy! We could have had some good dicussions about youth groups and it would have probably been fun to compare. There is never a dull moment when you work with the youth. I have a few words from a song I want you to read that I have sang at multiple funerals and I never get tired of singing it. "If you could see my now I'm walking streets of gold. If you could see me now I'm standing tall and whole. If you could see me now you'd know my pains erased. If you could see me now you'd know I've seen his face. You wouldn't want me to ever leave this place if you could only see me now." Therefore, my prayer is for you and your family that God will give you the comfort and healing to your heart that you need at this time. May God bless you and remember all the happy parts of your moms life not the sad!

Lance, Erin and Rett,
When I think of Bobbie, the first word that comes to my mind is joy. She had such joy for life and for the Lord. I have been thinking of what her first glimpse of heaven must have been like and how excited she must have been. She was such a dear person and will be missed so much by all that had the pleasure of knowing her. Bill and I are praying for you and your family. I know this is a difficult time, but isn't it wonderful having the assurance that you will all be reunited some day.

Dear Lance & Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this time of loss. Let's celebrate the Christian life that Bobbie lead! She was always such an inspiration to me and the students in the classrooms at Swan Meadow! We all loved it when Mrs. Rhodes was with us! Aaron and Levi always enjoyed having Bobbie for a substitute at the middle school too! They knew she really cared about them as a person, not just as another student. Rett & Erin, your mom was so proud of you! Continue to lead the Christian life that she taught you to live. God's Blessing - Arlene, Willie, Aaron & Levi Lantz

My deepest sympathy goes out to all of your family. Bobbi was a wonderful person, with her passion for our Lord shining brightly. I will miss her, but I know she is in a wonderful place in Heaven. We have the assurance that we will see them and be with them for all eternity. Our life here on this earth is but a short vapor compared to what awaits us in Heaven. God bless you all, and may He give you strength and comfort for the days, months, and years ahead. As time goes on, the pain lessens, but it never goes away for those we have lost. Our memories of them go with us each and every day, they never go away, helping to keep them close to our hearts and minds.
In sympathy, Fran
