In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Rachel Knapp-Evans; his sons, Zachery Tyler Evans, age 9 and Braedon Chase Evans, age 5; a brother, Allen W. Evans and wife Melissa (Via) of Kitzmiller; a sister, Tammy (Evans) Shaffer and husband Vincent Scott of Kearneysville, WV; nephews, Dustin James Evans and Matthew Scott Shaffer; a niece, Kayla Ann (Evans) Dolly and husband Aaron; mother and father in law, Patricia and Richard Knotts of Eglon, WV; sisters in law, Kathleen Hamperian and husband John of Morgantown, WV and Charlotte Strawser and husband Allan of Eglon, WV; and a number of aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Otha Evans, Eullialia Evans, Viola Sines Schrock and Gerald Schrock.
