She is survived by her brother, William J. Kirksey, Jr. of Falcon, NC; a special friend, Sandy Tasker; special nephews, David and Doug Kirksey; and a number of additional nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Tedrow Moon, in 2001 and sisters, Bertha Griffin and Margaret Hill.
