He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Carolyn E. (Broadwater) Sanders; seven children, Judy Sanders Wiles and fiance Peter Hough, Russ Sanders and wife Deb, Mike Sanders and wife Sue, Brenda Sanders Casteel and husband Ralph, all of Terra Alta, WV, Regina Sanders Burns and husband James of Oakland, Dewey Sanders, Jr. and wife Missy of Eustis, FL and Bill Braithwaite and wife Rita of Elk Garden, WV; twenty-nine grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; three brothers, Russell Sanders and Jerry Sanders, both of Terra Alta, WV and Jim Sanders of Newell, WV; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Roy Sanders.
