She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Joseph Matthiesen, as well as daughters, Lynne Crehan and husband Glenn of Oakland, and Nancy Grimm and husband Jim of Hampstead. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Anna of Queens, NY, and Joe of Baltimore; and a number of nieces and nephews. Katherine was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She will also be fondly remembered by special nephew, Tom and his wife Patty of Oakland.
