He is survived by two sons, William “Bud” Lipscomb of Swanton and Claude Lipscomb of Bloomington; four stepchildren; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren; two sisters, Bonnie Jean Moats of Aurora, WV and Ruby Olive Long of MI; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three wives, Mina (Durr) Lipscomb in 1967, Laura T. (Lee) Lipscomb in 1985 and Marie (Smith) Lipscomb in 1990; three brothers, Claude Arnold Lipscomb, Guy Franklin Lipscomb and Foster Dayton Lipscomb; and a sister, Mary Ellen Whisner.
