I was so sorry to hear of Dennis's death. He and I shared many great times together both socially and professionally. He was a wonderful friend and, even though we had not seen each other for many years, he will truly be missed. When we both taught at Elk Garden, I knew he was destined to be more than just a fine teachered. At his departure from Elk Garden, I was both happy and sad at the same time; sad because he was leaving but happy that he was finally pursuing his dreams. Goodbye my friend. May God take you under His wing and may you be reunited with Libby in Heaven.

I had Dennis as my Art Teacher at Elk Garden when he taught there. I also remember when he used to go out with a friend of mine that was also a student there. We all used to go too the Top of the mountain every weekend and always had a good time. So sorry to hear of his passing. Prayers and love goes out to his family. May he rest in peace.

Dennis was a very talented guy.His art work was amazing.He was my art teacher at Elk Garden School many years ago.He was very patient with us not so talented students of art.My prayers go out to his family.He will be missed by all his family and friends.All of his accomplishments here on earth will be remembered by many.The beautiful picture of a log cabin out in the country woods,it looks so peaceful hanging in the fellowship hall at Nethkin Hill United Methodist Church and is one of many beautiful pieces of artwork Dennis has blessed us with. God gave him such a talent and when we see these great works of art it will be a bitter sweet memory of Dennis. Everyone likes to leave a memory of themselves and Dennis has left us with many beautiful memories in the many things he accomplished in his life.In my prayers.Edie
