She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Groves of Oakland, one son, John Skipper and wife Kathy of Oakland; two sisters, Marie Brenneman of Accident and Katherine "Jane" Johnson and husband Harry of Kingwood, WV; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Skipper in 1989; a daughter, Ruth Warnick in 2007 and a son-in-law, Warren Groves in 2006. .
