To the family of Ron Tasker, may God give you peace and keep you as you always remember you loved one. Ron and I served in the Army together, and he was my best friend. Ron and I went through Basic Training in Fort Knox, Kentucky, Advanced Training in Ft. Polk, Louisiana, and we were in the same platoon all throughout our tour of duty in Viet Nam. Ron was a very strong, brave, and courageous man, and he was also a good soldier. I am sorry to hear of his passing. I have become active in some VA activities and I thought I would look up the one person with whom I was close. I'm glad to see that he has been blessed with a wife and son's. Ron was a good guy, and I will miss him too. Treasure the good memories, and nothing else matters.
